A Region to Celebrate! As we bring back students and staff this year, we are also bringing back celebrations, events, gatherings, sports, traditions, and opportunities! How blessed we are to live in a region rich with valuable resources, strong communities, eager partners, and visionary leaders! Our teachers and students are surrounded with people, schools, and organizations who want them to succeed! The Reich College of Education is certainly cheering on our colleagues, friends, and partners in the NW Region of our state! We would like to offer our congratulations to Blue Ridge Elementary in Ashe County Schools and Elkin Middle School in Elkin City Schools for being recognized as National Blue Ribbon Schools! Your hard work and attention to the needs of all students is certainly paying off and worthy of celebration! We are also excited to announce that App State ranks among the nation’s “Best” and “Top” colleges for 2021 and 2022, according to USA News and World Report, The Princeton Review, and Forbes magazine.
